So I just gave Elfen Lied a try...my god I'm in love with it.

I sat and watched all the episodes in one sitting without even realising because I was so sucked in by the story and the characters. I admit there were some manly tears too.

Its a shame there isn't any more to it other than the manga.

The best thing about that show IMO is how it discusses eugenics without either summoning Godwin's Law or choosing automatically the politically correct side and bashing it as something despicable.

It's specially obvious during the scene where [sp]the father of a newborn Diclonius girl refuses to have her killed (Because keeping her alive is a danger as the doctors said) and the disaster it unleashes because of that decision[/sp]
