I can handle Adobe Audition and know how to use some audio filters to reduce background noise. We worked with commercial snippets and sound effects in high school, so I know how to edit and make sure the audio doesn't clip.
I'm not master at mastering audio, but it should be good enough.

By the way, try to suggest songs that you think will be fun to karaoke. Don't just be like "Oh this is my favorite anime I pick this," although you're more than welcome to if it fits. Let's try to actually encourage people to sing along to some great fun songs.

Well as soon as we decide on a song or a couple for the first round, then we can figure out a deadline. I'm thinking about a week after the choice is finalized unless people get really enthusiastic and submit a bunch of lyrics in like the first few days.

Well, two basic problems with choruses are that you have to pick lines for people and fool them into thinking they're happy with them and that mixers/people who "master" can't make someone who's bad at singing sound better.
If you don't know those two, well, the only song you should sing is TWGOK's ED on episode 12.
