The dead one.
Anyone know which episode of Bebop where Spike [sp]holds his breath and gets out of his ship in space[/sp]?

Episode 7: "Heavy Metal Queen"
I find the OP for Real Drive unexpectedly heavy, though I guess it did nothing to make me think it should be otherwise. It's not even really heavy, but it's just so much sunny ocean-side stuff in the first episode that it seems odd to me. And especially at the end of episode 2 nice calm heartwarming scene going into a similar ED song. Once it picks up, it'll probably fit more, I assume.

Really impressed with the quality of the animation at points, disappointed with the fanservice. Oh well, the show looks to be good at least.
Clannad AS is tough. I've played the Visual Novel so I know what I'm in store for, but still...

Not gonna lie I'm gonna watch this even if it's bad, doesn't mean I'll like it though.

I'll watch it to get *unintentional* laughs
Finished Kami nomi zo Shiru Sekai seasons.
I hope there is more in the future. I think some may see it as repetitive but I like the interactions between the characters when trying to get the loose soul and how he deals with it.

The show had potential, but they burned it all on mostly filler. I only needed to watch five episodes in order to get through the main story. And I know that some of the fillers are good (like where the brother cop guy whose name I don't remember fights the psycho martial arts android), but all in all, the show could have been so much more.

The baka video is from season 2. The picture is from S1. (Based from what I know, haven't seen it yet)
Yes, that is Nichijou music. Good album.

Ha. The guy no one wants but gets the girls anyways. It's the kind of life I dream of.
Recently finished watching Blood C. I thought that it was too slow, though the twist at 11 and 12 were really bizarre. Considering that it was partly created by the same people who created Card Captor Sakura, (think of it as on par with the director of Barney directing 'A Serbian Film').
At least it was somewhat more faithful to the original movie (The Last Vampire) than Blood+ in terms of setting, violence, and soundtrack.
Well /a/ just got me to watch Hagure Yuusha no Estetica.
Here's a gif from episode 2.

this is a good example of english > japanese
how dare you say baka engish is better than sacred holy japanese
subs are 100% always better than dubs, no exceptions. accept that fact or get out
...Is what I'd say if I was a fanatical purist :I In all seriousness I watched Cowboy Bebop dubbed first, since it was one of the first anime I saw, as it was for many other people. I don't have a preference for either one; both have stellar voice actors.
I don't care about the difference between dubs.
Sometimes it is an entirely different experience, like with Sgt Frog.
The English Dub makes fun of EVERYTHING, from Applebee's, Modern Warfare 2, and Obama to the "We are the 99%" thing from the news and more.
Japanese version during these moments doesn't even make references to anything, and overall is more serious in nature.
There's a part in the early episodes where [sp]in the Japanese version a mother and her daughter were walking by the episode's monster of the day(mutant flowers), the daughter mentions wanting the flower to which the mom says they can't reach it. The English dub's version of the scene makes the mother as a kidnapper who tells the kid to shut up until the ransom money comes in.[/sp] It makes it darker with the humor too, which is awesome.

Subs are always better than dubs unless the dubs are bad on the level of a bad horror movie turned into comedy. No exceptions.
You know why? Because it's the way it was meant to be watched, it was how the director envisioned and created it. Then on the other side of the coin you have a bunch of talentless hacks acting like they can voice act and directors that think they know what the talentless hacks should sound like to fit the character. A bad clash of terrible proportions.

Which is the worst fucking thing ever.
"Let's just fucking disregard what they actually said and throw in this line that I think will be better even if it has nothing to do with the fucking show or what it's supposed to be".
Talk about violating the scriptwriters' job and the directors job portraying that script.

In other news, Accel World has a new opening, ending and Haru is the luckiest and unluckiest man on earth at the same time.
In a glorious coincidence, it was just announced that TWGOK will be getting another girl's arc animated:

I usually don't watch dubs and if I do I usually only watch Funimation dubs.
I actually watch the first episode with sub and dub to compare sometimes to see which one I want to watch. If the dub is bad or the dub doesn't match up with the lines in the sub then I'll probably just watch the sub version.
But I think Soul Eater and Black Lagoon are good examples of good dubs.
Though obviously some won't agree and that is fine.
The only dub I thought was worth watching was bebop.
I really like Soul Eater's English dub, too.
Kokoro Connect Ep 2 is a lot funnier then the first one.
[sp] I don't get what Heartseed is...did a plant swap with the teacher dude, or is it like an alien controlling him or something?[/sp]

Shame on you.
Bonus points for Popotan avatar, though.
there isn't anything more anime than freddie

One of the few dubs I actually enjoyed was Baccano, and that mostly has to do with A. They did a good job on it. and B. It fits the setting.
Seeing a bunch of New York mafia speaking Japanese is kind of weird.

Death the Kid's VA is awesome as him, he also does Keroro, the MC of Tower of Druaga, some side character in Summer Wars, and rumored Link in a rumored Zelda Anime.
I think his name was Vic or somethin'. I could be wrong, because I forget sometimes.
