They got almost every melee weapon you can imagine in SAO I believe
There were even guys with spears in the bossfight. Already this game has one upped Skyrim

No bows no magic no fun

I'm guessing that items have stats and aren't just cosmetic in SAO since they put emphasis into getting good loot
Wouldn't his outfit be useless once they reach higher levels since he picked it up from the first boss?

Yes, yes it would.
Which is why I wonder what is going to happen later on.

Apparently it's just cosmetic and in the LN Kirito says [sp]it helps him "Sneak" when its dark out. (He uses this coat until then the end I believe)
Guy fucking suicided himself over a god damned useless trenchcoat. [/sp]
Also you can make a bow and use it in game, it will just do nothing to a monster because there is no skills associated with using a bow. So you'd fire a projectile and it would just phase right through the enemy.

It is good that no one in real life puts so much value into virtual cosmetic items

So rock throwing is a skill? (In EP 1)
So rock throwing is a skill? (In EP 1)
There is a skill for throwing knives, so I'd imagine throwing is a skill in itself
So if I keep leveling it up, I can throw ANYTHING; including the planet itself.
So if I keep leveling it up, I can throw ANYTHING; including the planet itself.
sounds like dwarf fortress

No.

Oh yeah, Kirito becomes a pretty gurl later on

well yeah
i don't really like how they explained the bodyswaps, but [sp]even the mastermind said not to give much thought into it, so that's ok[/sp]
I just noticed that the "sun" in Space Bros' new opening is Hibito's hair.
axes > lances
i hate fire emblem's rock paper scissors for weapons
since there were a lot of axe-wielding grunts and my troops were mostly trained with swords they were a pain in the ass
halberd>everything.
gee fucking gee.
I don't know why, but I find it hard to believe that Chaos;Head, Steins;Gate, and Robotics;Note are all in the same universe. The fact that they are all in the same [sp]Delusion, World Line, and whatever the fuck Robotics;Note has[/sp] seems highly improbable to me.

Pardon my ignorance. I wasn't aware that they were in the same universe?
Pardon my ignorance. I wasn't aware that they were in the same universe?
Just read some more. Apparently they are in the same universe, but take place in different 'worlds'
I wonder if this means I'll have to end up watching Robotics;Note to see if it hold any relevance to Steins;gate.

Probably not. I know they reference Chaos;Head very subtly in the Steins;Gate VN, but not much outside of that. Still, the differences between all three make my mind hurt to think they all exist in the same universe.

They're in the same universe? It hurts to think about how that would work
Were Mahou Shoujo Madoka★Magica and Bakemonogatari produced by the same people?
Madoka's house reminds me of the Araragi household and all that abstract art shit

Woah the second episode of SAO felt like it ended too quickly.
I didn't even notice it was already 25 minutes until the credits rolled in
I sense a lack of webbos
Katana > baka gaijin weapons

yes it is made by superior craftsmen with techniques no western civilisation can even begin to imagine.
The blade is folded thousand times which makes it able to cut through any steel.
