The dub isn't too bad, but the music is horrendous. T-t-t-time machine!
The way I see it with the dubs is that they sound good, but the voices don't fit for ever character. Unless you're asking for someone to send you a physical copy.
Does Higurashi no Naku Koro ni get scarier? I have a slightly disturbed vibe about 5 episodes in but that's it.
Does Higurashi no Naku Koro ni get scarier? I have a slightly disturbed vibe about 5 episodes but that's it.
It's not even scary, it's just disturbing all the way throughout.
Still no regrets from not watching it.
It's as if you're implying your enjoyment of the show would be somehow linked to my personal opinion of it.
It's as if you're implying your enjoyment of the show would be somehow linked to my personal opinion of it.
No, but you personal opinion of it sounds much like what I expect it to be.
Does Higurashi no Naku Koro ni get scarier? I have a slightly disturbed vibe about 5 episodes in but that's it.
Is this just a bunch of different stories or am I supposed to look for a connection?
No, but you personal opinion of it sounds much like what I expect it to be.
Oh, you and your double negatives.
Does Higurashi no Naku Koro ni get scarier? I have a slightly disturbed vibe about 5 episodes in but that's it.
It was never scary, (e.g oh shit that scared me) but it was overall creepy experience, it gets worse around green lady's arc. (the first one)
Is this just a bunch of different stories or am I supposed to look for a connection?
just keep watching, s2 will answer most of your questions most likely

Interested in Mayo Chiki. Guess I'll give it a shot- after seeing the second episode of Cowboy bebop I remember what happened. When I was younger I saw the entire series, and I thought I would've forgotten. Sadly I guess I didn't.
Are there any hidden gems or reccomendations for Netflix? I'm currently watching Desert Punk and enjoying it.

Alright, I finished Mahou Shoujo Madoka★Magica. It was really good up until [sp]Sayaka Miki turns into a witch[/sp] but then it kinda went downhill once they tried to portray [sp]Kyuubey as some sort of upper being that controlled the universe or something[/sp] To be honest, I would of preferred a typical [sp]good defeats evil and everything is well[/sp] ending. Kind of disappointed. If it kept up the pace for the whole series then it would of been great but it felt like the last few episodes just knocked down everything it built up before by [sp]giving everything a "logical" explanation[/sp] [/opinion]
I'd say its downright impossible to get horror right with animation.
Go watch Magnetic Rose.
