It doesn't have anything to do with the supposed religion of them, it's just that I see crosses being used as a casual acessory quite often, something that I find unusual.
It's something like those "christmas ball" earrings I keep seeing in a lot of anime shows from the 90s like Saber Marionette. Was it a trend or what?
