Decided I am now going to start watching that One Dark Night: Secret Friends thing that I see and think looks sort of lame. But it has happy animals so it has always sort of had my interest.
Gabu, the wolf, couldn't more obviously be the voice of Ozu from The Tatami Galaxy.
What people think of Shakugan No Shana? Is it terrible, or is it watchable?

Shana is k; I think it's typical 'boy-meets mysterious girl and they hang out while the girl does most of the killing magic things'. Nothing really special
dropped the second season halfway, it felt like same old things from the first season with more characters

On a side note they are both his stepsisters, as in his father is married to a woman, that woman had two daughters with another man and he is the son of his father with another woman, so it's not really incest, they're just his "sisters" because his father is married to their mother. during the opening where the camera pans upwards (if I remember correctly) showing a full body shot of shana about to cut down someone, if you pause it at the right time Shana's skirt is completely lifted and you can see her stomach and her pink panties but it's literally for a split second

Have you at all watched any episodes of Lucky Star?
Also the fact that you have no reason is a reason in it self and is why I'm raging over it. "It's got what I'm looking for but I'm not watching it because some people that hate anime said it was fucking awful".
It's well appreciated all over. It's ranked a bit over 200 on MAL, and that's with over 100,000 people having watched it (ranked 21 in popularity). That's absolutely not bad for what kind of show it is. The sperglords that overrates it and thinks it's the best thing ever and bitches that gives it the worst possible rating because they can are cancelled out in that huge amount of watchers.
