SAO ep 4 was slightly better than the previous ones
Characters still flat as cardboard
also tentacles???? really?
I am getting more teary-eyed over Kokoro Connect than I did with Clannad.

That's dumb.
Every episode gets closer to a sex scene in SAO.

Man, episode 5 is going to hit you like a train then
The composition of everything is far from anything SHAFT would ever make.
i've seen shaft putting up portraits of famous people in the background before and bakemonogatari also had the piled up chairs(except they were classroom chairs but close enough). they also like sillhouettes in the background
not saying only shaft does that but they're the ones that i associate those things with

SHAFT doesn't just pile up a bunch of chairs in a random clusterfuck. Nor would they just let it be a boring pile of chairs, it would be interesting to look at because of their stylization and attention to colour.
Wow, a bunch of famous musicians in a music room, mindblowing. SHAFT would have made sure the composition of the frames was much straighter and perfectionistic, and they would never have glowing eyes.
SHAFT likes replacing unimportant people with silhouettes, paper-board cutouts or similar. Nothing to do with if they are in the background or not, just if they are important to the story or not. They use silhouettes for stylistic choices in OP's and ED's, or for budget cuts, they wouldn't use them in an illustration unless it served a purpose (in those illustrations it would be much better if they weren't silhouettes).
I understand what you are getting at, but there is really nothing SHAFTy about those illustrations at all.

hello swede
Hey guys, I need help remembering an anime, all I remember from it is that I think it was sort of a fantasy setting, and the main protag is with a group, when all of a sudden get ambushed. Then main protag does something, like unleash a power, and fucks all of em up, but then feels bad about it for some reason I can't remember. Now I know I've pretty much described most generic fantasy animes, but if anyone could help me out it'd be appreciated.

Holy shit, nevermind. Just found it.
