i just use [url=http://www.irfanview.com/]irfanview[/url] because i'm dumb, and it's what I have most image formats open up in by default.
i'll probably switch to CDisplay one day if I ever remember to.
For some reason, even after reinstalling CCCP, subtitles refuse to show, I wanted to pick up some anime before I leave for my military service in a week, but I am not having much luck with that at the moment.
Any ideas?

assuming you're using MPC-HC, and just the default installation:
Open up MPC-HC
Press [O] to open up the options menu,
Go to playback,
At the bottom, make sure "auto-load subtitles" is not checked.
Go to Subtitles->Misc,
make sure "Ignore embedded subtitles" is not checked
Open up "FFDShow video decoder configuration"
Go to subtitles,
make sure it looks like this:

Hopefully it works now?

How can you not recognize her voice? I mean, really, I can hardly ever for the life of me guess the correct voice actor despite having heard the person in a different show less than an hour ago.
But that girls voice is just completely fucking different from anyone else so you just can't miss it. (along with Arararararagi, Kyon, Kuragehime's heroine, everytsunderelolimotherfucker, fucking Yui, obviously Aya Hirano and haha, screaming a fucking lot Kobayashi Yuu)
