Oh my god, you have like no ability to play scary games properly or something. I'm sorry, but stop coming back after you complete one area to post "not scary lol"
I only got 5 minutes in. I haven't touched the game since.

Before I bought it I was reading about everyone saying it was the scariest game ever, and how they needed a clean pair of underwear after it, but I just can't see how anyone can find it scary. And this is coming from someone who didn't want to play nightmare house 2 by himself. If I'm completely honest, this game has been a major let down so far, all I'm asking is does it get any scarier? Because if not, its not worth waisting my time on.

Those are the scary parts, but you can't honestly expect scary games to make you flip your shit in the beginning. Silent Hill wasn't scary for quite a bit, but it get's real tense later.
There's nothing to scare about stupid monsters... No potential danger.

Play with headphones, play until you're done (At least go to the storage) for the time being, and THEN come back.
The woman who pops up at about 4:50, shes not in the actual game is she?
what, of course not lol
Storage wasn't bad. I never found the game scarey, just stressful. The atmosphere they set with the background noises is very effective (not including the teeth chattering that sounds like cock roaches when you are bat shit insane). I got to the prison level but never actually went in because I had to reformat my computer and lost interest in trying again.

I've also played through a lot of the custom stories. (check my steam profile I've got about 90 hours). The game for me is top-shelf. And is one of the few I will never forget.

Nightmare House 2 is about taking out zombies with your shotgun before Emily appears and you have a surreal sequence. I loved Nightmare House 2, but I was never as scared of Emily popping up as I have been of a Servant in Amnesia.
I never found it that Terrifying. Scary at points, yes, but never more than that.
I never found it that Terrifying. Scary at points, yes, but never more than that.
I'd say it was more creepy than scary.
I found it to be very scary. I'm not even going to bother beating Justine. I got half way through I assume and the game closed out and I don't want to start all over.
I found Nightmare House 2 scary, but it wasn't a "oh fuck oh fuck im going to die oh shit" scary, was more like occasional quick things that made you jump in your chair and from what I understand, people think amnesia was the "oh fuck oh fuck" kind of scary

Also, I've just finished Storage, There was one monster there, and after he killed me and I come back, I didn't see him again, how is that scary?
I couldn't play it through. But it looked really good though, I recommend it.

If you really want to be creep'd out, play it alone in the dark with headphones on and do everything it tells you to to keep the atmosphere.
Have been playing it when everyones asleep, I'm just not affected by it, although I wish I was
Wait till your tired, it makes it like 2x as scary for me
I do tend to be pretty tired at around 12, but for a game which is supposed to be the scariest thing ever, it sure has been a letdown
lol i dunno how you can not be afraid of this game
I honestly wish I was, can someone explain how its meant to be scary because I honestly have no clue, it just seems like im looking for things in dark places and hiding in the odd cupboard from monsters.
i guess its the fact that if you're not hidden, you're fucked, because you have no way to attack the monsters, even if through the game you find all sorts of weapons
If you think you're just playing a game you're playing it wrong.
He is right. You're supposed to completely throw yourself into the game, as if the game's main character ( I forget his name ) is you.
He is right. You're supposed to completely throw yourself into the game, as if the game's main character ( I forget his name ) is you.
Daniel, and I cant play it for over an hour or so, I get fustrated with the puzzles.
He is right. You're supposed to completely throw yourself into the game, as if the game's main character ( I forget his name ) is you.
Daniel. I didn't even know much of the story and I still shat myself. But you should try to enjoy the game. If you try the game thinking that it will suck, you'll reject everything
It IS scary... /thread
Daniel. I didn't even know much of the story and I still shat myself. But you should try to enjoy the game. If you try the game thinking that it will suck, you'll reject everything
I started the game thinking very positively after hearing about how scary it was going to be, I took a while to gain the courage to play it. But after a while, nothing was really scaring me.
