I can't remember anything that happened up to a week and a half after my surgery. I was such a fucking wreck. I was just told some things that happened right after surgery by my mom. Apparently the reason they couldn't let her back to see me for FOUR HOURS after my surgery was because I was stuck in a constant state of panic since the doctors didn't give me anything before putting me under even though they said they would. Apparently if I was awake at any point, I was sobbing and crying in pain even when they drugged the shit out of me. I would pass out every so often, then wake up and just start crying again. After four hours of this on and off, I guess I calmed down, but I was an incoherant mess of babbling and crying for the rest of the day. I don't remember [I]any[/I] of this. The doctors [I]really[/I] fucked up when they forgot to give me something for my anxiety before hand because I warned them plenty of times. They better not make a mistake like that again with anyone else, because after seeing that they probably realized that when someone says they have bad anxiety, it's not a joke.

Shouldn't this count as going against a patient's wishes, at the least?
