I haven't played it but from what I've seen from it, Shadow Warrior looks like a really fast and brutal fps.

I've always wanted to make something in rpgmaker but it's scary there's a million versions and it costs money

If you're not looking specifically for an FPS, Nuclear Throne gives off a huge Hotline Miami vibe and is a heck fun game.

i'm using rpgmaker vx ace which i think is the latest version and it isn't too tough, i've been able to use it while very heavily under the influence of mind altering substances so it should be easy for you to figure out

That's understandable, God of War seems to be a surprisingly niche game because of the more simple nature of its combat compared to other brawlers, people expect more from it I guess.

I do think the the first two games are extremely cleverly designed though and are probably the best games on the PS2, aside from Shadow of the Colossus.
