the second 2d instalment of the PoP series was my favorite by far out of all the PoP games, even the 3d ones
and the rodneys are queuing up
That's understandable, God of War seems to be a surprisingly niche game because of the more simple nature of its combat compared to other brawlers, people expect more from it I guess.
I do think the the first two games are extremely cleverly designed though and are probably the best games on the PS2, aside from Shadow of the Colossus.
I really loved the original trilogy for God of War (I liked the PSP games too), they really were the games I instantly thought about whenever the word "Playstation" came to mind.
The combat doesn't have terribly much to it but it's still a lot of fun and damn it has some of the biggest and craziest boss fights I've seen in a game
I was still pretty young when I played the original God of War, I almost puked playing the first game for the first time.
Ah, to be young again. :v:

I feel God of War excels at the same thing that the Arkham games excel at. They really just put you into the shoes of the protagonist so well, and give you a sense of power I feel a lot of games can't really reach.

I think it's time to pick up where I left off in my last New Vegas playthrough.
