satsuki is pretty cool tho, not gonna lie
I know it's partially my sleep. I don't like staying up late and waking up early, but my job causes said issues.
Its important to not oversleep too.
I make sure I get 7 hours a night, no more no less. I often wake between the 6-7 hour mark though which is ok.
8-9+ causes depression, but less than 5 causes brain function problems and other health issues.
Don't go into too much detail about KLK's story please, I haven't seen the show yet.
i can't win in hearthstone suddenly and it's effecting my self esteem
I was actually happy to get to that part. Sure I lost all my shit, but it gave me a challenge, since by that point I was a walking stealth field, beating the ever loving shit out of people. Plus I got everything back after it ended so I became even more unstoppable in the long run.
i wasnt annoyed with that part
that was cool
it just felt disconnected and i didnt like that portion of the story at all

I thought 8-9 is fine.
Really? I heard the reboot was the cream of the crop.
Nah man. The newer one is so different from the originals, I don't even consider it a Tomb Raider game. The classics are way more about exploration, platforming and puzzle solving instead of the survival, stealth & action stuff you get in the reboot. The controls may seem a little clunky at first many people say, but I never had any trouble with them.
If you like amazing level design, a good challenge and beautiful gameplay & music, get them. They're really cheap on Steam and GoG, considering how much gameplay you get out of them.

I could cry tears of joy every time I listen to those tunes.

Yeah. It did feel rather poorly implemented in the story.
whenever i'm feeling down i just listen to the TTGL opening and it lifts my spirits right up
Woo, I got my hard drive hooked up to my PC again!
Now to actually back up my important files
I remember I found Tomb Raider 3 at a thrift store for a couple dollars once, so I bought it and tried it out, and at first I thought the controls were outright broken they're so outdated and clunky. :v:
I guess I'm good to go, if I nap half hour to 1 hour then.
That's where I get less that shitty feeling.

The new one is a surprisingly good game, just very different
for reinventing Lara Croft in a modern context they did a very good job
Gonna need some citation, never even heard of this.
theres a number of scholarly articles that say that sleeping longer than 9 hours for extended periods of time does show an increased risk of depression (10-15%). I don't know much more than this, though I could ask somebody else who knows more.
thats not even the opening tho
who cares
when you're doing the impossible you don't have time to worry bout the fcukin details

Depends entirely on the individual, and more specifically on their age. Many people naturally sleep for 8 or 9 hours while some are lower than 8. There's definite correlations between depression and oversleeping, but without seeing some sources I'd be more inclined to say that oversleeping is a symptom, rather than a cause. At least that's how it is for me, and a fair few people that I talk to.

theres quite a few different sources but I'm terrible at keeping track of them, I found this as an example but its more a summery of the recent studies.
I live with a liver condition that causes my body to function different to "normal" people. Ive spent the last 2 years researching Health & nutrition and the sleep thing has been my biggest help. The whole 8-9+ hours sleep causing depression thing is still undergoing a lot of research but one thing I will say is I went through 3 years of depression during my teens and I was sleeping 9+ hours then. And a friend of mine who is majorly depressed usually sleeps 10 hours or more a night. so I personally believe it makes a difference.

Compliments of questionable genuineness never helped me when I was depressed.
You need to say something that really speaks to him and his situation, not just shallow fluff.
