I played about 3 hours of MGS4 like a third person shooter with an XM8. Zero attempts at stealth, just running around gunning everyone down.

I have tried 2 ways to play it, stealthy and Rambo.
Shooting in mgs3 feels kinda weird, but it gets fun after the end [sp] where you unlock the patriot gun[/sp]

I went all of MGS without knowing how to strangle
still didn't have to use ration cheats unlike that one guy I know who's really into the series
I assume that being sneaky in MGSV will feel more rewarding and sorta easier.
Like you can tell a troop to move to the one you interrogate to have an easier access.

Ah come on what the fuck?! I was just about to finish up the Big Boss Sim and I had to restart the game to add an eyepatch mod. So you'd think creating a household would actually save it automatically, but NO, it does not and now my 3 Sims I created (which took like an hour, fuck) are gone
Wow I miss the days where id come home from school to play halo 3 custom game lobbies, have a full lobby in like 5 minutes then play jenga, infection, monster trucks, fat kid, predator, cops n robbers.
So much fun. :(

i'm excited to see my friend's reactions to it. i'm recording the whole series and we're like LPing them, i've talked about it in the thread before, but we just finished mgs1 and i'm recording mgs2. it was awesome seeing his reactions, especially to the psycho mantis fight, the cyborg ninja's fate, and the post-credits phonecall
