Nothing ever seems interesting and you really fall behind on all your obligations. It just all stops mattering after a certain point I guess. I have seen people who would never even appear depressed kill themselves. I myself have suffered from suicidal thoughts. I tried (and failed hilariously) to choke myself to death with a sweater when I was 11. I ended up spending 10 days in the Seattle Childrens hospital for anger management and depression/anxiety therapy. Mostly it was just talking to counselors, playing with legos, uno on the cots, and getting to meet the Seattle Sonics (they gave me my first orb mouse I used to play HL2 as a christmas gift.) I was also dealt a slurry of medications ranging from Adderall to anti-anxiety meds like clatera or clitoris or someshit. I ended up not getting better and taking out my rage on the people around me resulting in a series of assault charges from getting in fights at school and a residential burglary charge when I was 13 (november 2006) which put me on the fast-track to an 8 year long probation period and several stints in juvenile detention. I cleaned up my act when I moved out and in with my later-to-be fiancee. I fucked that up when I realized she didn't make me happy and struggled once again with suicide. I know I need to go back to the hospital and get medication to keep me in check, instead of abusing pot which makes it hard to get a full-time well-paying job. I still struggle with thoughts of suicide. But what keeps me going is knowing that I don't "have" to exist, I "get" to exist. I am given the opportunity to live as an individual and do whatever I want with my life. I get the chance to fight for my right to exist, and make my life as good as I can. Or so I told myself on an acid trip like three months ago. I decided to quit smoking pot and try joining the army. We will see how that goes.
