A statue in Hawaii called the Moa-o or something along the lines of that, I thought it was a cow man beast thing as a kid, so when runescape came around I settled on mooman1080. The 1080 is a tribute to a n64 game you should know.
Back, 7 years ago, my brother and I played star wars battlefront 2 and he created a creative random username to use, and he still uses it to this day. Me, as I always wanted to copy my brother, wanted to create a creative username to use, so I created "Yogman". After a little while, maybe 5 or 6 years ago I found out it was a pretty common last name, so I changed it to what it is today, Yogkog.
However, last year the Yogscast suddenly came into the scene, and now everyone thinks I got my name from them. I kinda like the Yogscast but it angers me that they had to go by that name. I may want to change my name again someday, but it's been with me for so long I can't.
It's my name. I'm fine with it, and I didn't want to come up with something I'd regret.
Read The Stormcaller by Tom Lloyd, and since my bro had lain claim to our old mutual username (k245) I used a character's name to use for my LoL account, been using it ever since.
Thinking of a username better than 'ST25L' back during my Xfire days. This one stuck so I've been using it for quite a few years now.
I made it up when I was about 14, playing quasar with some friends. We all decided to come up with ironically macho names to go on the score-sheets.
It stuck and I carried on using it when I started signing up to things on the internet. I think the 0 appeared a few years later, when I tried registering for something that either needed a number in the name, or some other loser had already taken stormforce.
Its the same as my xbox live name which i was given the idea from my sister
TRLE was the Tomb Raider Level Editor, which was what I used before the Source SDK and Hammer. Chippers was just my nickname in real life.
Back when I got xbox live, I couldn't think of a name, so I put Chubby Belly (even though I'm not that chubby) I thought it was silly. But on xbox, a lot of people cut it down to Chubby or even Chubbles.
So I went with Chubbles on here.

Dark Star is a character from No more heroes. He is so fucking badass but he lives only 3 minutes. I really like his armor.
I thought of this name when I was... 10 or something. I thought salmon were the coolest fish ever. Not as a food, but as an animal. At the time I was also very interested in the military, and I still am. Out of all the different names for different kinds of soldiers, "marine" does sound the coolest. I have no aspiration to be a marine, but enlisting in the Navy is still a viable possibility. I no longer have an obsession with salmon, but it's funny to hear people on pub servers trip over my name.

I was making a minecraft account about a year ago and didn't want to use my previous screenname, which was GreenKoopa. I only used that on a Mario Wiki.
I'd been listening to rather a lot of They Might Be Giants, and TheyMightBeGiantsFan was too long, so i used the abreiviaton.

I was reading the Surviving The World webcomic (#154), and I saw the word Kakistocracy (Rule by the Worst). I thought that "The Kakistocrat" would sound cool, and had a sort of funny meaning to it.
