I wanted a generic name. I didn't think I was going to stick around on Facepunch that much. Ah well I'm not paying $20 to change it.
I tend to use "Blinxis" more. Heard it on a radio station, sounded cool, stuck with it.
I saw a pack of gum named "Extra" and then made my first c++ coded exe. And thus we have my name.
first time I used this name was for Command and Conquer: Red Alert 2. It was just a dumb name, and all my friends had similar names with the 400 at the end.
I kinda regret it now because using numbers at the end is stupid and I'd prefer something more original, but evidently I hadn't come to this realisation before joining facepunch.

Fun fact, a phagocyte is a cell that engulfs other cells into its cellular membrane, pinches off the fold and moves it into its cytoplasm, injects it with digestive enzymes, and eats it.
