When I was 6, I met my best friend. He asked me if I had a nickname, which I answered that I did not.
He felt this was a shame, and that everyone should have a nickname. So since my name is Simon, he started calling me Simski.

Nick Strafe came from my history book, later when i tried to make a steam account, Strafe was already taken, so was str4fe, so i used str4fe114 and later on joined facepunch with the nick Str4fe.
I used to go by 'Ghetto_Concept' because I liked a rap group of the same name when I was 8.
Anyhow, one day I get the idea to use an alternate alias to see what people were saying about me in the chat rooms I used to regular. So I tried out countless combinations till I tried 'Cureless_Poison' and it worked perfectly.
Name stuck since, though on here it's short form because I couldn't fit the full one in the name bar.

My name is Joonas. Around when NFS:MW came out, my dad bought it and installed it without telling me. He decided to make a twist to the name by changing the "S" to a "Z". Later on just Joonaz wasn't usable on some forums, so I added the first letter of my last name to the end.
When i started playing CS 1.6 many years ago i had the name "Toyhobo [Made in china]", changed to "Toyhobo" after a few weeks because people were trying to chat me up on Chinese.
I paid my friend to make me a retarded name.

I ran as Gunteen6 for some time back when I first started playing Halo on the PC. needed some kind of name. I was probably like... 11 or 12. Around my freshman year of highschool I was working on a science lab with a friend and ended up using one calculator in each hand to do the several equations we needed done every step. One of them error'ed and displayed "Syntax ERROR" aaaand that stuck for a while. Then I shortened it to just Syntax.

I've used this name for pretty much everything for a few years now. In like 2005, I was playing css and from what I recall, a guy had a name similar to Blazyd, so I changed my name to this and it stuck.
