Underwater Timed Escort Missions. [sp]The final level in New Vegas was amazing, especially because I went the independent route and took out the Legion with nothing but speech checks. I felt so cool.[/sp]

Pretty much any Tactical/Stealth Game (Jagged Alliance, XCom etc.) When everything goes according to plan. It's just so satisfying to feel that you're actually commanding a real squad, working together.
Warthunder When your team actually goes after the ground targets and you win in less than 3 minutes. Warthunder In domination when both teams each cap 1 airfield and then its just a fight to see who has more aircraft.
Warthunder Getting an air to air kill with rockets :v:
BioShock/BioShock 2 Any moral choice.
Whenever a game gives you some time to go batshit crazy. For example, Black Mesa. A lot of that when the military shows up is peeking corners and firing out a couple of pistol rounds or 'sniping' with the revolver. But as soon as that action music starts, you pull out that SMG and just fucking sprint out there
Pretty much any game that can have good memorable moments without being scripted. Planetside is a goldmine for stuff like that. [editline]9th February 2013[/editline] I also love levels set in the desert at dusk/night. I'm a real sucker for Just Cause 2's desert-themed island.
Deus Ex: Human Revolution intro. Also the part where you confront Hugh Darrow in the end.
Games designed where I'm evenly matched. It's not a slaughterhouse making me want to slam my keyboard into oblivion, nor is it a slaughterhouse where I'm the butcher. I go around, killing people as I go. I almost die, so I quickly find cover. Then I sneak out, and continue the fight. Crysis has a good number of these moments. Playing on Delta is a rush.
Easter egg hunting.
journey [sp]you walk through the snow, the wind starts blowing harder and harder, tearing your precious scarf clean off. You begin to freeze, but keep going. You make your final step with the light of the mountain within a short distance, and collapse with your partner at your side to the end. Fade to cutscene, you look up and see the white figures staring at you. You begin to float and suddenly your scarf grows out, past its original length. Glowing brightly, camera angle at the eye of the storlm, you lift off at extreme speeds. The orchestra begins getting more intense, you zoom past the awr machines. You pass the top, you and your partners, above the clouds, all war machines now scarf dragon things. The strings quiet to a quiet but happy melody. You are now a god.[/sp] I cried on 7 seperate playthroughs
Far Cry 3 [sp]The helicopter fight with Riley with Ride of the Valkyries playing.[/sp]
The best part was killing [sp]Vaas[/sp]
Battlefield 3 That campaign...
Creating your units in Impossible Creatures. Fucking love that game.
The best part was killing [sp]Vaas[/sp]
Wonder if you mean that because it was a great scene or you hated [sp]him.[/sp] IMO, [sp]he's[/sp] a incredible character, it's not hard to imagine why [sp]he got to be on all the posters and covers instead of Jason.[/sp]
Beyond Good and Evil ~one of the best games I've played~
Garrysmod That feeling you get when you solve a very annoying lua error.
I liked rushing the beach right at the start of Halo: Combat Evolved's "Silent Cartographer" mission.
Far Cry 3 When your falling from a cliff with your car and knowing its not a scripted part of the game. Or something cinematic like that.
Wonder if you mean that because it was a great scene or you hated [sp]him.[/sp] IMO, [sp]he's[/sp] a incredible character, it's not hard to imagine why [sp]he got to be on all the posters and covers instead of Jason.[/sp]
He should've had more screentime.
Mother. FUCKING.
THIS!
6:57 baby! [editline]10th February 2013[/editline] Matter of fact any game where badass music and gameplay just go together so well, you feel like you're dancing and you're heart is singing aloud in joviality. That's just how good of a moment they are.
Hotline Miami When you complete a level and you see every dead man you just killed.
Shadow of the Colossus. Any of the Colossus fights could count as this, but the build up and tension in the last Colossus and the entire fight with Avion are absolutely spectacular.
Bully Walking around the town and listening to the background music.
Oblivion That quest where you have to kill everyone in that house, that was my favorite part of the game by far.
Splinter Cell Conviction The Third Echelon Level - Walk in. Blow shit up. Sneak in. Steal Government Property. Find out your best friend was lying. Shoot the hell out of everyone.
My favorite part of a game is when the battle music is so catchy that it makes you want to go out of your way to fight every enemy. Like this and this. I also like humorous dialogue/character development.
Good action music. You know, the kind that makes you wanna rip your shirt off and defeat people with your bare hands. Sorta like this song from Black Mesa:
Walking Dead Game spoiler [sp] When you are on the street in Episode 5 with those hundreds of zombies in the way, The music kicks in and you start killing every last one. Or the moment in the fourth episode when you are running up the tower thingy and killing all the zombies going up. [/sp]
Any open-world RPG where an antagonistic character threatens you when you're a high level and then you proceed to completely fuck them up.
