The point i was trying to make was that i could either have her or the rest of the world.
I would chose her, i we merely using that to show you how much power I could have wielded.
Love as a concept or a state is so confused and mixed up there's no use even debating it.
However love as an act is far more simple and better on any level. What use is 'being in love' if you're not actually loving them?
It annoys me when people moan about people saying 'I love you' too soon. Saying 'I love you' is an act of love so they are effectively loving them.
When I'm in love I do everything I can to make them happy and know beyond any doubt how much I would do for them.

I agree with pretty much everything you said, but not the way you said it. The most beautiful thing about our race is our ability to conceptualize and I don't myself see it as an overall bad thing. It can be problematic at times, but for me it's always been fulfilling on so many levels.
If we 'evolved' into a form that didn't create these concepts (as flawed and confusing as they seem), we would lose everything that makes us human.
Being human is a blessing as much as it is a curse. For what we do not understand we cope with my making fantasies about it (another human quality) the problem is that despite the fact we can conceptualize anything we also worry about things arbitrary to merely living.
The point being that we worry too much about what happens after death (for example) when being dead has no affect on how successful you are during the time you are alive.
Being human in my opinion is about discovery. We are driven to know more, to find out how it all happened and why, some people are so desperate to find out why the jump of the first bandwagon that pops up. (religions) which may or may not offer the answer but the point is it's AN answer. We feel safe thinking that we know what comes next and that's the thing about being human. we need these little things to keep us feeling safe otherwise we become "Unstable"
To be able to know more is the blessing.
To know it all is the curse.
I'll leave you with a question that has kept a deep part of my mind occupied for as long as i can remember.
You know know absolutely everything and anything about the universe and indeed all the other universes.
Now what?
Now what?
Your head explodes.
Now here is a question to YOU:
You now own nothing, but you have the love of your life for all eternity.
Now what?
Weird, fantastic, and it sucks. :d

I enjoy myself, I dedicate myself to her and together we live and love. We strive also to understand, so that the next generation may be richer for it.
don't hurt me
no more
Its bullshit
and i would do anything for love :(.
but i will never get any love :(
It's when you'd be lost and empty without him in your life.
Me and a girl loved each other for about 4 months, then one day she says she doesn't want to go out any more. She has no idea why she doesn't like me any more, but she suddenly starts seeing us as just friends.
Love is completely fucked up.
I believe true love is true maturity and two human beings working well together for the rest of their lives. Doesn't mean they won't fight, but rather they will always recover from those fights and love each other passionately again. I will probably never find it, simply because there aren't many gay men that want any kind of lasting relationship.

Unless one of you (and therfore by extension, the other) becomes a TV personality.
Don't give up is all I can say, and besides the ladies always like a gay man. To them they are perfect. all the right bits and they think the same way about things that they do. (supposedly)
Love is probably one of the most complex and strange things ever to grace the human race and as a self professed man of science i believe that it's our duty to find out what it actually is.
I want to be in love again. :(
I'm in love.

It's a chemical reaction in the brain. Mystery solved. :D
We're no strangers to it.
You know the rules, and so do they.
A full committment's what they're thinking of.
Wait, hang on a sec.
This is not right, man!
Oh well...
Pizza.
ITT: Angsty teenagers try to hold back something the human being had since the start
I was convinced that there was no such thing as love. Needless to say, I was wrong. Simply falling in love completely tore me apart as it was against nearly everything I had ever stood for.
It is the only thing to have ever managed to break me and cast me into an atrocious spiral of remorse, misery and self-hatred.
Now that I've come to terms with it, I would never ever want to give it up. Too bad the person I fell for thinks the exact same thing I used to think, "Love doesn't exist".
But hey, at least we're good friends. Simply being in her presence is enough to make me feel all fuzzy and carefree. :3:

Sometimes love just ain't enough.
Love sucks you in and spits you out after taking several bites. It hurts.
if you want to learn about love, see if you can get a hold of Brad henning, yes, he has a religious angle on it, but he also has alot of advice for teens. the True Definition of love is choosing the highest good for the other person. anyway, heres his site: http://www.bradhenning.com/

Care to share a story?
Love is like a vase of flowers, I don't know if it half full or half empty, but it is still a vase of flowers.
Love's a complicated thing. People get hurt, but hey, it's part of the deal.
I don't think anyone will ever find a person they can love without some sort of conflict or pain occuring between the two of them, but hey, better than being alone I think.
i do believe in love and i think it's pretty amazing when two people are just right for each other
that's not gonna happen to me 'cause i have a list of issues longer than your arm, but it still warms the heart to see two people who are like that :keke:
