When FP moved servers, they stopped locking servers, but eventually there were too many topics with 500+ pages... Now, having those locked doesn't do much, but having them active and being posted on stresses the server's server a lot. So they lock them every time they pass the 1000th post.
That's what the mods told us. (No need to rate the guy dumb, he just didn't happen to see the mod's explanation)

I wish we could make linking from failblog an instaban... And make it bannable to post an image with the word "fail" on it when it's completely unwarranted. And make it bannable to post motivators..... Except in those [b]extremely[/b] rare occasions where the picture would not be funny without it.
But I guess it's still to be considered good even if only one person in the world finds it funny. =/
