I don't know about guys but, you can skip the trailers on DVDs and the warning message isnt really on in new DVDs. And you press play with pirated versions.

Don't know about blue ray, but on any standard DVD you can hit the title menu or the main menu button (on your remote) and it will skip the unskippable trailers. You're still suck with the unnecessary fade in and fade out bullshit, however.
And also, with a pirated movie, unless you burn it to a DVD to put in your DVD/Blue Ray player (Which you quite often need special software for), then all you do is double click the file, not insert DVD.
