You can't hotlink from 4chan, even if the content was funny no one is able to see it if you link directly from there. if you really want to post the picture then you need to reupload it and then post the new link otherwise you're going to look kind of stupid (hence the dumb ratings).
When in doubt preview your post, if something isn't working then you'll be able to see it before you post it.
