I'm 14 and I've never gotten high/drunk like the majority of people my age. I've tasted lager before, though that'll never happen again. Do I win yet?
the amount of ignorance in this thread is staggering
I've tasted lager before, though that'll never happen again.
I'm positive that you will.
I'm positive that you will.
The shit tasted like bread that you fermented in dirt. I didn't like it, so I see no point in trying it again.
You're 14. I felt the same at a similar age.
I smoke weed, have quit tobacco and got drunk once. People who judge your lifestyle are fucking idiots. If you don't smoke, drink or do any of that stuff, fine by me. I don't see any reason why I should show negative feelings toward you. It's the straight edge people that try to force their lifestyle onto me that piss me off.
I don't smoke, i don't do drugs. But i don't hate those who do. I take alcool twice a month.
Yes. Cause they clouds your mind and make you forget about your real life problems. It doesen't seem like your happy with your life. quit the drugs they just fuck up your life. keep drinking but drink with responsibility.
oooooooo, get you
I don't care if people don't drink or whatever just don't go on about it.
quit the drugs they just fuck up your life. keep drinking but drink with responsibility.
Last time I checked, alcohol is pretty much considered a drug in the sense that it can change your state of consciousness. It can also do some nasty things and fuck up your life if you drink too much of it.
Vodka mixed with orange juice in proportion of 1/2 fucks you from inside.
I'm Fine with drinking and smoking, I don't know what to think of Drugs though.
I think that it is wtitten in their spine that they should drink, and then they don't respect others who have another opinion. I drink at parties, but just to have fun. Never tried drugs, neither smoking
I don't know, I'd find that a pretty easy question to respond to: "Would you like to shoot yourself in the foot with a hunting rifle?" :v: Anyways, I'm, as with others here, like the OP. I'm simply not interested. [editline]03:57AM[/editline] Personally, I don't approve of drinking, simply because I don't understand the logic to it. Apart from the obvious damage to your liver, the fact that the people are all too aware of the massive hangover they're going to have, and yet they do it anyways, still confounds me. I don't go preaching it to others, though. I just kind of shake my head and tsk to myself. Also, how long has Facepunch had support for ctrl-I and ctrl-B? :v:
Hangovers are not all that they're made up to be. The only thing that gets on my nerves during a "bad" hangover is when you have to go be somewhere and you start getting nauseas. My headache, regardless of how hard I have been drinking, goes away a few hours after I wake up. It's not as bad as people say it is, but that is just me. Also, hangovers are caused by dehydration to the brain. Drinking water frequently throughout the night after the buzz starts to set in and having a glass or two before passing out usually cuts the impending hangover in half, if not renders it nonexistant. If you are unable to look after and take care of yourself while you are heavily intoxicated, you are not fit to be drunk. It will end up biting you in the ass eventually when you fuck up and end up in the hospital. Then again, that all depends on if you really care about having your stomach pumped. I myself have been heavily intoxicated many a time where I would be crawling on the ground acting like a safari animal, tripping over shit left and right, including my own feet, yet I still have enough sense to STOP taking in alcohol at that point, and start hydrating. It's really not a science- you just have to be fit for it (50/50 physically AND mentally) and know (as well as be able to) stop. P.S.- I used to be a heavy pot smoker (have been clean off of pot for over a year), a heavy cigarette smoker for many years, and used to be a fairly heavy drinker. This is my "reference" card.
Because those who don't are sometimes radical as fuck and they feel all better because they don't and they don't respect other people's choices. Some people don't drink to be cool, same with pot, it's nice from time to time. Cigarettes is something else though...
I don't have a problem with people drinking. I do, for some reason, have a problem with people smoking, not sure why. It's probably because my parents always smoked when I was around and my lungs got screwed over.

I am not just saying this from my own point of view, I am speaking for many many people whom I have spoken to about the topic. I used to love cigarettes. Now I can't stand them.
Well, I do all three of those :3: I smoke (addiction and stress, thank GOD you don't. Don't start, kids) I might drink every odd week, just because I'm at a party or something. And the same goes for weed. But I do them just like most normal people, which you could do too. I'm not IN LOVE with them, but they might make the evening a bit more fun. Don't be embarrassed if you don't like them, most people don't like one or more of them. Just don't listen to the people who call you out, it's really none of their business anywho <3~
I respect that, but there's nothing wrong with trying. if you're weak you get addicted, if you have responsebility you know what's good and what not. Just listen to your body and judge by yourself.
You're missing out on some great times. ie eating while high.
It's not eating out of hunger, it's eating because everything tastes so fucking good. I hate waking up in the morning with the shits and a bad stomach ache. At least it's worth it.
oooooooo, get you
I wasn't trowing something at you. Just saying..
Tried it all, now I do none of it, took me a trip to the hospital to learn it wasn't worth it.
You're missing out on some great times. ie eating while high.
It's great having the munchies when there's food around that you can eat. :D But it's horrible when you can find anything... :(
hey pussy scaredy cat.
Alright Facepunch, here's the deal. I'm 19 years old. I don't drink, I don't smoke, I don’t do drugs and I never had the urge to do so. I hear other guys (and gals) complaining about how the drinking age should be lowered and how cool it is to smoke and how liberating drugs are but I don't care in the slightest about any of those things. I've been called a lot of things for my behavior, among them "goody-goody," "pussy," "scaredy cat," and (my personal favorite for an unknown reason) "Quaker."I'm not afraid of getting caught or getting into some kind of accident. I hold no resentment towards those who choose to do any of the things that I have no interest in doing, but the question is: Why do most people that drink/smoke/take drugs hold such negative feelings towards those that don't? If FP wants to answer please include whether or not you do drink/smoke/do drugs. (For reference I drank and smoked before, I just choose not to do it and have never done it again, respectively.)
You, good sir, win life. Also, I'm the same way. I lol'd at "Quaker".
I do none of the above because 1. I hate the smell of smoke 2. Drugs are bad 3. The long term effects deter me. Presuming you are at college or uni, enjoy the fact that once you leave they will be left in the dirt with their health problems and you will never have to deal with them again.
