I want an animated avatar, that's the only I want gold.
I rather had paid for gold like I had the chance when I made this alt before.
Back then, the coolest reasons to wanna be a gold member was for an animated avatar and a title. Also to be part of a custom forum and able to view the RC.
But now... it's.. meh. It does feel like an honor to be gold, but.. it just feels like it was handed to me instead of earned. The fact any 07er and before can easily be a gold once they hit 2,000 posts, just feels dumb.
There's going to be more people race-posting just to be called a gold member. And the more people means the more lag from the stress of the server having to keep up with them.

I like the new Gold thing. I've been here for a while, I've posted a lot, I've contributed to the forum to the best of my abilities. I think I've earned gold member. Of course a lot of thanks goes to garry for making it possible.
