If you want a better breakdown:
The game is an isometric twinstick shooter with rouge elements. Similar to Isaac. There are right now 12 characters to choose from, all with unique active and passive abilities. You can carry any 2 weapons at a time that you randomly find throughout the levels.
The main game play is going through randomly processed levels and the goal is to kill every enemy in that level to go into the next one. As you kill enemies, they drop Rads, which is exp. Collect enough Rads and you can level up when you beat a level. Every level up you get to choose a mutation that adds another passive effect to your mutant. Range from simple +HP to being able dig into walls for more cover.
I could get more into it some of the smaller things, but I kinda don't want to spoil too much. (More content spoilers than story spoilers, the game doesn't have much in a direct story other than flavor text in loading screens.)

I think my control of my life has been slowly eroding as exams draw closer
I told myself I was gonna lose weight this year, but instead I'm waiting to go back to college for that where I have immediate access to an on-campus gym.
Though I could use the shared gym down the street for a bit.
