Speaking of albums I'm almost finished with my next art piece where I recorded over a bunch of hair metal, classic rock cassettes with hard ambient drone pieces. The next step, after getting all the songs on the cassettes, is giving them all back to goodwills/placing them around town without changing out the j card or messing with the actual cassette housing in any way.

i really just hate academic life, it's literally driving me insane
life is a constant struggle between me falling behind on coursework and feeling subpar compared to my classmates

even art&design is about producing machine-like unoriginal work for grades, it's making me sick and throwing my mental health in to the toilet. i'm getting zero enjoyment outside of school life, i don't get to do anything i'm even good at. I suck at programming and painting, and those are the two things i primarily study; at least i have film to keep me going somewhat

Yea the problem with art school is that you start to question your own creative expressions in terms of whether you are just producing for grades or whether you are producing for yourself. All art students go through this dilemma at some point, and most art departments have counselling that will really help you get through it in a positive way. Check out your student resources and stuff to see if you can make an appointment.

I have a few friends who behaved badly and we're kicked outta school, once you drop out you'll really miss it
