so i got gifted an otome game on steam and i played it because it was a gift and it would be rude not to i expected a sappy romance but what i got was [sp]a murder mystery about finding out who tried to push me off a cliff that ended with the only guy that was nice to me spiking my iced coffee and murdering me[/sp]

I've realized I have begun texting in short fictitious story format. Like I was telling my friend how I think the proliferation of smart devices is dumb by coming up with a whole story of a tech executive name Greg who decided to get some smart products, but the products' functions eventually lead to his wife divorcing him, his eventual mental breakdown, and finally his suicide with real life smart devices thrown in at every chance I had. So for example his suicide note was written on this one notebook that transcribed your written words to your evernote with a pen that tracks your input, and then he tied his noose with a smart rope that tracks your fitness and attached it to a smart chandelier (no clue how it was smart but it said it was) and finally pushed off of a smart stool that checks you'd posture to lead to the eventual death. All of this while his Facebook feed was being spammed by all the smart devices trying to tell the world how "smart" Greg was to buy like a smart water bottle and smart fork. Makes texting so much more fun.

I just recovered my Mechquest account credentials. Been like 4 years since I last played that game. I remember me thinking it was the shit back when it first came out.
