But since i trimmed my hair down a bit, i now get asked what college i attend, and if i am with DCS or just doing observation hours.

I consider it both a blessing and a curse. It makes me laugh when people say "dude you look like you are 12". It also makes me happy because it means I will look young for a long while.

Not being a pansy, I just don't want to publicly acknowledge underage drinking on an online forum. I mean, I may or may not have gotten completely drop dead wasted last weekend drinking Jack Daniels, and I may or may not have the previous weekend to that drank half a bottle of vodka and 20 minutes later forgotten how to move, speak, and breathe. Anyways, I don't know if it was justified or not, but we are doing our best to help their people while we are there. The problem is that they see troops as big bags of money and exploit the hell out of us and building contracts and whatnot. It is time to go, they cannot offer us anything, and they don't want us there. It is time to leave, which we are doing, albeit slowly.

You have to be quick when cleaning it. That, and here is a little Cav secret. Some of us have two Stetsons: One being the one we broke in and wear a ton and put a lot of pins on it, usually a cheaper Stetson (not an actual Stetson hat co. Stetson), and an actual Stetson Hat Company Stetson that is really nicely shaped and clean to wear at more formal or slightly less rowdy Cav functions.

None of my troop know that I am one because I don't ever bring it up. If asked directly, I would tell them, but no one else in my troop really knows what a "brony" is, except for this one specialist, but no one has asked, and there is too much work to be done to distract them with me trying to explain what a brony is or what the show is about. Like I said I cannot confirm nor deny that copious amounts of alcohol will be poured into my Stetson during the break in.

No. I will probably not even get ammo, or at least very little. They reserve the grenades for the infantry. If the shit hits the fan though, we will go to the armsroom really quickly and pull everything we need then.
