i'd hear you out tho i always like to hear people's music recommendations
This album is my favorite for like more conventional music this year. (It's still not very conventional but that's probably why it is my favorite :v:)
My favorite album of the year appeared on one list I saw but it called it an EP for some reason.
probably because it was under X number of songs
thats even worseeeeeeeeeeeeee
Catch it asap
Your fault for not having watched more of it ok
ill catch up one day hopefully my kids arent there to catch up with me
I just realized Nintendo's title is a link
see to me i don't look at it as being objective i don't think of it as "here's what i say are the best albums of the year and any other list is wrong" i mean i've only listened to so many albums this year, with 2015 being an especially prolific year (very much so for hip-hop) there's probably just as many albums that i didn't get around to my album of the year lists are just the 10-15 that i think stood out particularly well that year but it also has a lot to do with personal attachment as well as quality, which is why i again don't consider any of it to be more than opinion i could spend 2016 listening to everything i slept on and my list might change entirely
Yea I consider music tastes to be subjective and stuff, so calling your list "the best albums of the year" is dumb, it should just be "our favorite albums of the year" or whatever.
i'd hear you out tho i always like to hear people's music recommendations
i'm gonna start writing up a little list and i'll post it here once i'm done dunno how many people will be interested in what's on it but i like recommending stuff [editline]2nd December 2015[/editline]
Yea I consider music tastes to be subjective and stuff, so calling your list "the best albums of the year" is dumb, it should just be "our favorite albums of the year" or whatever.
which is almost exactly what i do it's why i say 'my top albums' and not 'the top albums'
Top 3 would probably be "Rattle that Lock" by David Gilmour, "Hand. Cannot. Erase." by Steven Wilson and "Currents" by Tame Impala. Idk which order to put them in. Edit: Yeah album of the year is always subjective, especially since not everyone listens to everything
Kiwi got ignored, poor guy
Kiwi got ignored, poor guy
oh fu c
Alao hellooooo
hii
my top albums this year are also generally pretty mainstream because even tho i like to try and branch out and find more niche stuff i find it difficult to plus i feel like mainstream music gets pushed aside just for being mainstream and i've always thought that was wrong plenty of mainstream music is great
i'm gonna start writing up a little list and i'll post it here once i'm done dunno how many people will be interested in what's on it but i like recommending stuff [editline]2nd December 2015[/editline] which is almost exactly what i do it's why i say 'my top albums' and not 'the top albums'
I like recommending music too but seeing how my two favorite groups of music currently are experimental noise and feminist punk, I don't think my lists would go over well. :v:
I'll be interested even though i have a p good idea what 50% of it will be. Frank bae
:c ;-; ;_____________;
Whats title for next thread?

Like if you go up to anyone who actually studies music and has super eclectic tastes, like me , they will still admit that there are some really good mainstream albums.
Whats title for next thread?
Something christmas-y.
This is ur own fault for telling me such things. But that aint a bad thing c:
u have upset me with that post frank didn't release anything in 2015 (besides a song preview and a cover) u reminded me of the hole in my life what is truly missing i'm crying now
I have just begun to describe people who feel the need to try to be non mainstream as much as possible as "fragile" because like their sense of self is so out of balance that they need to keep telling themselves that they are "cooler" than they actually are. Some wise words on the subject are "truly weird people try to look normal, while normal people try to look weird."
Dem prices [thumb]http://puu.sh/lH5hD/bd2b5aaa84.png[/thumb]
boy i sure can't wait to start studying music and constantly get shit for my tastes i can't help what i like idk
People who are actually into studying music, especially the professors, will not care how mainstream an artist is, if their music is good they will listen to them. Also don't worry at most schools some of the intro music classes are like introductions to art music and stuff so you will learn about all the crazy weird genres you have never heard of.

Does it seem fucked up to anybody else that a late highschool level algebra class would have ridiculously long math problems? The problems in my last exam were long enough that people were running out of room on the paper and had to write in the margins. I guarantee you that's the reason people are failing the class too, it's waaaaay too much shit at once.
i dont how music

I can see how it would be hard to break into some of the more obscure genres out there, I was lucky my dad is super into music so like I grew up listening to noise music and weird art shit.

Since we are on the topic, the amount of close minded people who take music classes in college is insane. My college offers a course on late 19th to present day art music composers, and most of the people in the class absolutely hate everything that is played and make fun of the songs and stuff. Like I don't know what these people thought when signing up for the class. [editline]2nd December 2015[/editline] Also I have a friend whose school offers a class about appreciating electronic music and people started complaining when the class focuses on experimentation and breakthroughs of electronic music theory instead of like a class about EDM or whatever.
I just found the Super Sonico mouse pad and I am appalled that someone would actually fucking make this and then price it at $410, I mean these people must be real innovators to combine a large mousepad for computer use and some kind of mini sex toy along with custom anime art to create something like this.
