It's worse for me. I'll sit down to do something, and zone out for some reason, leaving what NEEDED to get done still there, but only hours later.
Hell, I could JUST meet you, and if I don't notice something about you, your hair, eyes, shirt, then I'll forget you/your name.
I still don't know all of my coworkers names, even though they've told me and I joke with them a lot.
