I listened to nothing but the soundtrack for maybe two weeks after I beat it. And I don't usually listen to soundtracks on their own.

tbh one of the emotional games was spec ops the line but it forced you to do bad stuff and then said oh you're a horrible human being, you could have just turned off the game

That's honestly why Spec Ops failed for me. I have utmost respect for what they were going for, but it never hit me like it did most people.
Being forced into something bad and having literally no way of stopping it doesn't make me [I]feel bad[/I] about it. And "stop playing" is such a cop-out course of action. All it says to me is they couldn't figure out how to give you agency and have the message still make sense.
