I really don't find it so nerdy or weird to listen to video game/ movie soundtracks. Some of them are incredible. Just listen to this and try to tell me video game music sucks.
I prefer the kind without lyrics :D My teacher once asked our class: "What kind of modern music reminds you of classical music the most?" He was first doubtful when I answered "Videogame music", but after showing him that song from Metroid: Prime he understood what I meant. [editline]21st July 2011[/editline] Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back probably has my favorite videogame music of all time. There is not a single track in this game I don't love listening to.
All book based religions are fucking retarded. I think its nothing but a story tale and it baffles me how people take it as truth and devote their lives to it.
I'm no religion expert but I'm pretty sure there's more to it than that. Still I'm with you. They should just get with the times and create some movie based religions. I guess my unpopular opinion would be that sports games like Madden and NBA 2K11 are among my very favorites.

Jehadists. people who oppress other people because it says in a book that a man can't sleep with another man. THATS what pisses me off.

There are plenty who are religious but believe that gays and such should be able to do as they please even if said religious people don't agree with it. You do every once in a while see these Bachmann type nutjobs but not as often.
I don't know why everyone is hating on rap, I like real rap like Tupac, Biggie, Eazy e etc.
UKFDubstep is horrid, I wouldn't even consider some of the tracks on their channel real Dubstep. Instead of spending our time and money helping people in other countries we should be using it to help people in our own country, we shouldn't worry about other countries problems until we sort out our own problems. "Fine Culture" is over-rated. Good job, you read books and go to plays, get over yourself. The hate for rich people is un-justified, many of them spent a lot of time and work getting to where they are. Athiests tend to shove their beliefs down your throat more than Religious people, atleast in my experience.
I don't really like Nintendo. (Games/Consoles or the company) And furthermore, its really hard for me to play games from the nes, snes, n64, or PlayStation era. The graphics are just too primitive and hard to focus on. Same thing with starcraft 1 or early fallouts. But hl1 and unreal tournament styles are fine.
Athiests tend to shove their beliefs down your throat more than Religious people, atleast in my experience.
In our defense, a lot of us act this way because if we didn't stand up we'd just be ran over. As long as Religion has an impact on the government it will have a large impact on atheists, and until the church and the government are completely separated we won't stop getting beliefs shoved down our throats. Furthermore, usually people consider it fine when someone exclaims themselves to be Christian, but get all up in arms when someone announces themselves as atheist. Naturally a lot of us gets more defensive, or more cocky, in order to not let ourselves get silenced.

It just seems on here people are so worked up over religion, Christianity especially. I have no problem with either a religious person or an athiest telling someone what they do or don't believe in (I'm an Athiest myself), but you don't have to be such a dick to people who believe in some sort of greater power.
I hate you. Yes you. Not him; you, specifically. The guy reading this post. You know what you did.

Here's another confession, I often dislike agnostics more than most theists :D A lot of agnostics tend to be really fucking smug. They believe that they're so much more intelligent than everyone else by saying that atheism and theism both can't prove they're right and therefor you're dumb for not being agnostic rather than atheist. They act as if being atheist rather than agnostic is being "offensive" and not respectful of other peoples beliefs. I think agnostics like these are just as dumb as the most pretentious of religious people, while also being smug as hell.
I hate you. Yes you. Not him; you, specifically. The guy reading this post. You know what you did.
Wait that means its an unpopular opinion and i'm generally liked :D

If the majority didn't act like such dickholes then maybe they would be more tolerant and consider their side.
Its a very good story and I am glad for you friend. Many forms of media are inspiring, some more than others. for example Schindler's List. But what I think is ridiculous is people saying "ITS THE WORD OF GOD HE IS REAL JUST READ THIS BOOK" and taking it all as truth, word for word.
So... You don't like fundamentalists? Because that's what you just described. Most religious people aren't even like that.
I really hate it when a guy puts on a "mask" just to talk to women. Like how some guys act emo and dark and "deep" Or how some are very "nice", even too nice. Seriously why put on a fucking mask when you can go to a girl (or guy) and just say Hi. Is it my Aspergers? Or is it really hard to talk to other people these days?

Everyone is full of shit, including myself.
Athiests tend to shove their beliefs down your throat more than Religious people, atleast in my experience.
It doesn't accomplish anything, but I really can't blame the people that are forced to deal with dogma on a daily basis. Also, the frustration comes from an intellectual position, not a completely emotional one. That's worth a little respect at least.

No it's because they THINK they're smarter than everyone else because they're an athiest and it's called being smug. I'm not saying athiests are dumb or the other way around. I've just seen dumb and smart people vary regardless of whether they're thiest or athiest.

People always think an atheist is an "angsty atheist" just because they are willing to say bad things about religion. Really its just something people are say every time someone says something bad about religion. I mean can we call gays angsty if they talk bad about social conservatives? Oh and by the way that isn't the majority most atheist are either closet atheists or don't talk about there atheism and if the fact that some do say bad things about religion is the reason you don't think about there belief logically all it means is that you aren't being very logical. [editline]21st July 2011[/editline]
Athiests tend to shove their beliefs down your throat more than Religious people, atleast in my experience.
In real life or just on facepunch? I'm talking about the kind of athiests who vandalize Churches, jump all over someone just because they're reading a Bible or something, and go on Christian related sites and post comments like "LOL ur reading a fairy tale"
It's possible to have an anthropomorphic fetish without being a furry.

You said the majority and because of this you wont look into there belief. Basically your being just as bad as that minority then.
Before Team fortress two and the portal games, the only fun game/mod related to valve was Gmod.
You mean a minority. You said the majority and because of this you wont look into there belief.
That is the majority I've seen personally. I can't say for sure if it truly is the majority or minority and neither can you.
A safe assumption is that the vocal ones are a minority, because most people are moderate and reserved. This applies to every ideology.
