Is it normal for windows update to take over an hour to install 29 updates. I went straight to update 27 out of 29 when it started and has been on it since.

Cross post from STGYM because I am LEGITIMATELY ANGRY RIGHT NOW The University of Connecticut. My university. The administration is garbage and corrupt and spends wastefully (as shown in my previous post). Now, I go to one of the University's regional campuses. These campuses are commuter campuses primarily. My campus is particular, in addition to that, is a public park. The public has access to the grounds. Yet, for some reason we still have to pay for a parking pass. Traditionally the police from our campus are understanding and do not enforce it because it is a commuter campus AND is a public park where the public can come and park. They understand the unique position that this campus is in. However, last semester a freshman went all the way up to the main campus to ask for a refund when she found out that they don't enforce it here - and as a result EVERYONE is paying now. They specifically send a cop down from the main campus to issue tickets. Up until this point I have not paid for a parking pass, as quite frankly, it's extortion due to the fact that the public is allowed here. That was until Monday when I received a warning ticket. Fine, I've been playing a dangerous game and there is no point in struggling further this way, so I bought the pass on Tuesday (since I got home late Monday night, and I was tired as hell). They do not give you a temporary pass for you to print out to place on your car as you wait for them to ship you your pass (which can take 14 days to get to your residence). "Whatever", I figured as the cop would give you enough time to actually have the damn thing shipped to you. Nope. Today, 2 days after the warning ticket and one day since purchasing a parking pass I got a fucking ticket. I went to the police station here, and even they are not happy with the situation and are NOT able to do the appeals process since it's all through Storrs, the primary campus. So now I've got a BS ticket after I paid for my god damn pass and they haven't yet shipped it to me. How many more tickets will I get in these next couple of weeks as I wait for it to get shipped to my house? How much of this bullshit am I going to have to fucking deal with?
