So my friend and I are working on a Fallout: New Vegas mod for a school project and we've decided on making a Vault based on one of the dumb short stories we had to read. Vault 28 is "The Happy Vault", where the air filtration system was designed to distribute air-bound chemicals that increase dopamine levels in the resident's brains, making them so happy that they couldn't feel any other emotion. Eventually the original residents fucked off somewhere or died and a band of raiders moved in. The raiders didn't know about the dopamine system and most of them were driven insane by the excess dopamine. Our quest starts by meeting an NPC at the Yangtze Memorial that tasks the player with killing the raider's leader in the Vault, but when the player enters they'll be affected by the dopamine systems, preventing them from using their weapons. In order to kill the raider boss, the player will have to descend to the Vault's lower level, avoiding hostile turrets and turn off the dopamine systems. Once that's done, both the player and the raiders can draw their weapons and then the shooting starts. I assume you know where this goes next. I don't think that making the Vault will be all that hard, if its too difficult or we run out of time we can always just copy parts of other Vaults. The only really challenging thing would be coding the NPC's and voicing them. And the system preventing the player from drawing their weapon, but I think we can copy that from Old World Blues.

Holy fuck browsing SH and I find a thread about a furry game that had massive drama in it, I never thought something like that would show up on Facepunch, let alone SH.

the division is launching at crazy times all over the place but apparently (next to japan who gets it on the 10th instead) my time zone is the last one to get the game i think everyone is going to be ahead :scream:
