The thread's moving so fast that I can confess.
I'm a Zarblaxian from the Andromeda galaxy. I was sent to this planet to scout its natural resources. That was five hundred years ago, and suffice to say we weren't expecting life here. I sent my people my report, and their response was to observe for five hundred years and write a report on humanity.
I had high hopes for you guys. I really did. But, when it comes down to it, you're what you call 'selfish assholes'. My report has been sent.
You can expect to make first contact, not with a diplomat or a war general, but with a gigantic mining ship that will see you as nothing more than ants as it drills to the core of your planet, drains you of its resources, and leaves you starving to death.

I just find the fact that marketing without the Authenticator holds your items before you post them on the market for 15 days to be extremely stupid (or the whole E-Scrow thing in general). I just think that if they actually made a way to teach people the basics of trading and how not to get scammed that'd be better, but Valve would never do that :pudge:

Ehhh... that shouldn't be up to Valve honestly. Taking a certain number of measures yes, but that's almost like saying walmart should teach people to not shoplift. :v: You can fix a system, but you can't fix people, and sometimes the only way people will take precaution is if it actually happens to them, as sad as that is.
