Pretty sure it was made with the intent of it saying shit when their feet hit the ground. I don't think he gave 2 shits that they were starting to walk again. If he did it as early as you described, Haters would appear for too long and it would more odd than what you're suggesting. It's timed just fine. Going with a beat, Haters and Gonna each appear for 1 step, while hate appears for 2. Summed up: It's fine as it is.

Hate stands for too long. I never implied the timing of everything else to be wrong, and everything else will also be unaffected by changing what I said needed to be fixed.

After looking at the gif at individual frames. It would appear you're right. It's clearly there for 1 frame to long. Anyways, Each time the word changes, their feet are hitting the ground. As I said, I think he made it that way on purpose. I will agree with the person who made it, and say it looks fine. (Obviously besides the scrolling background, but shit I'd be too lazy to fix/change that anyways)

Yes, I somewhat agree. The only thing that Kyoani is better at is the animation, it is superior to SHAFT's, even though that's the only thing that it's good at.
So if the list were all about animation then Kyoani would stay there, but since its about the studio as a whole, SHAFT should be up there.

I don't even know if I would classify Kyoani as good at animation anymore either.
They were pretty good. But lately they have been really lazy. They produce about one show every half year. And that was fine with their previous shows. But K-ON (whilst I don't have anything against the animation in it, nor think it looks bad) is a pretty lazily animated show when you compare it to what they are known for. It's one of their top sellers, but it has less detail and less animation put into it than their previous shows. They also failed hard with the second season of TMOSH (have yet to watch it myself), sure, they made 4-5 episodes that were okay and normal, but 6 of them were horrible and utter shit re-drawing the same episode.
The movie has gotten really good praise though. But it's a movie.
SHAFT has but only gone one way with everything. Up. Up. Up. With Bakemonogatari they finally got themselves a really good budget. It was horribly spent on Dance in the Vampire Bund only focusing on eye zoom ins and shit (Though, obviously patched up greatly in the Bluray release). But that's pretty much the only real failure they have done too. The animation in whole is just getting better and better.
