That's like thinking Avatar and Borderlands were set in the same place because they take place on places called Pandora.
Gallia (AKA Gaul) is an old name for Western Europe so it's pretty common. The name also appears as a country in Fire Emblem actually. (And is the place where Valkyria Chronicles is set, but I had to check that one)

Nah, loads of authors just have common themes in their works and this one just likes Western Europe and magic.
In case you didn't know Gaul/AKA Gallia consists of France and some other small places Luxembourg and Belgium so it makes sense they'd be in the same place when both maps are based off Europe. :eng101:
