my first times here during early 09 I was super serious, flame & troll-intolerant, always trying to look and sound intelligent, Grammar Nazi-ness and all wannabe internet tough angst guy shit like that, well it didn't work quite well, I was a huge salty faggot who just tries too hard to fix up and "nazi" up the thread and forums, I sooner realized after a few months it's pointless and dumb, I mean hey it's just an internet forum, people here try to have fun and talk to each other regarding numerous topics, sharing ideas and what not, we're not trying to be a kingdom or a country, it's simply a place to discuss and talk numerous things
it doesn't matter whether you're words are equal to Shakespeare or your philosophy is of Friedrich Nietzsche, sure people typing like "lulz omg u r so dumbeee!!!xD" is annoying but hey just disregard him for a while, he's just having fun, you're not the supreme overlord to make him/her do want you want or want him/her to be (well maybe the mods if they think it's valid to ban then maybe they'll either leave and find another forum or just brush up their communication methods) but hey, it's not like you're physically hurt (if you are, or actually also mentally hurt, I suggest you seek a doctor because that's some serious condition you're having there) if you can notice, that people who are just chilling, being nice and having fun are the people who are more approachable, because they're not some upstuck jerkass who wants to make his forum the way he wants, notice the removal of smartness and insta-ban, that's pretty much a calling that only common sense is required, all you need to do is to not provoke someone on purpose via flaming or trolling etc. and just don't do stupid things like posting child porn or irl gore or something like that
I agree using punctuation and grammar makes your posts look more readable and approachable but still, it's not overly necessary. (Pretty much this is only necessary on actual serious topics or being the OP or making a very intelligent serious statement about an actual serious matter in a discussion)
