baka trap is the best show of the season
also DoW2 is way better
talking which game is better is impossible because they're two completely different games now talking which game is more fun and better by itself is pretty much depending on the taste and view of the player, the other is for RTS players who likes a more massive and strategic game, the other is for ones who want a smaller scale game with more focus on tactics and RPG elements.
ur missing the best ones fyi except 4 maybe baka test
i don't watch omamori himari tbh ladies vs butlers is also cool
i've played dozens of rts's with the sam formula as the original DoW DoW2 is new
tl;dr Dawn of War II is for nerds who likes lore more than fun
Basically. You have to know Warhammer 40,000 to appreciate the game more.
also Dawn of War 2 is a dumbed-down Company of Heroes, and this one is actually a fact. It's too simplified and it shows. No more pinning, directional vehicle damage, etc. yeah it's new, that's pretty much most people's praise I keep hearing about. Well I think just because it's new, doesn't mean it's technically better, yeah it's a breathe of fresh air, it's fresh air in a smaller oxygen tank though, it feels better, but it won't last as long as the old bigger oxygen tank.
But you get to use badass speece mareens
Basically. You have to know Warhammer 40,000 to appreciate the game more.
Yeah I appreciate it, yeah they did a great job at keeping lore better now. Appreciation won't last long in lore though. What I care in a game is fun, not lore. I go read the books or something to appreciate lore. In a game like this I want massive booms, blood and havoc in a nutshell. Not "this guy needs to exactly have this amount of power, height, weight and look". It's like making a game about Avatar that focuses more on how Neytri's boobs look like then how fun the game should be. [editline]09:59AM[/editline]
But you get to use badass speece mareens
yeah guess what I had more badass speec mareens though in the first one, in fact it was like 100-200 instead of the pussy ass amount I get in Dawn of War II
You people and your shitty names.
your 100-200 speece mareens are pusseyseyes compared to my terminator squad
You people and your shitty names.
what do you mean, "you people"
In the first one, Space Marines were just like dolls with looped shooting animations and sounds. Dawn of War 2 gave Space Marines the right image. They had less numbers, but they were tough.
And the thread have drifted into total nonsense again.. How's it going Naoko?
What's the fucking point of asking how "she's" doing on the forum when you live in the same fucking house and can ask "her" in person? Pretty stupid if you ask me. Also, stop talking to yourself.

o ok thats goode
Campaign
This relatively simple gameplay is not what you'd expect from a strategy game, and strategy fans, including those who adored Dawn of War II's illustrious predecessor, will be disappointed that the "S" is missing from "RTS" in this instance. That's because the campaign is more akin to an action RPG, and if you look at it from this perspective, you're more likely to enjoy the journey.
Multiplayer
Dawn of War II's multiplayer component couldn't be more different from its single-player campaign. For those interested in the joys of online competition, you’ll find an exciting, brutal, and highly competitive strategy experience awaiting you online. It's more traditionally structured than the campaign, in the sense that you will manage some resources and churn out some units of your own choosing from a base structure. It's also more strategic, as is obvious from the moment you enter the multiplayer menus. You have four races to choose from: Space Marines, Orks, Eldar, and Tyranid. Once you've selected a race, you choose from one of three commanders, each with a particular role to play in battle. A Tyranid ravener alpha can dig tunnels, granting your units quick travel when you most need it; an Eldar warlock will embolden the front lines with its powerful spells. Not only does each race come with its own strengths and weaknesses, but your choice of commander (and the accompanying abilities) will further determine the appropriate play style. There are a lot of different ways to play, and many of the different strategies make themselves obvious in just a few hours of play.

1. I have not been living with her or anywhere near her place for the past week 2. I did, but she wanted to hear some second-opinions
"Captain. Our scanners are picking up high amounts of bullshit."
Campaign Multiplayer
thanks for proving me right
what do you mean, "you people"
What do YOU mean, "you people"
thanks for proving me right
thanks for proving me right
thanks for proving me right
yeah, and you're basing the whole game on campaign. Most of the game is multiplayer which you didn't legitimately play.
