• I saw a ghost last night?

So basically, it was the night my cousin slept over. She slept with blankets on the floor and I slept on the bed. Every single light was off in my house. Randomly, I woke from my sleep and sat up... Usually, when I wake up in the middle of my sleep, I feel extremely drowsy and just go back to sleep.. But this time, I felt half awake and actually sat up and looked around. I saw an extremely bright white figure standing in my doorway, just staring at me. It didn't have any clothes or face, it was just a skinny human figure with long arms and long legs. Its head touched the top of the doorway. I stared back, but for some reason, I wasn't afraid (it was probably a bit of the drowsiness..) It was just glowing. So after 3 minutes of just calmly staring at eachother, I thought of taking a picture of it with my blackberry (I sleep next to my phone). But then I realized if i tried to, it would get angry. You know how in the movies you can upset ghosts if you take pictures of them, and they fly at you and kill you? LOL it sounds stupid but that was what I was thinking. At that moment I actually started getting a bit creeped out, so I rolled off my bed, next to my cousin, and just fell asleep.. In the morning I woke up on the ground, so it was NOT a dream.
Stop taking drugs. Also, you slept with your cousin?
Sounds like you were hallucinating. Happened to me once.
You're not trying to tell us you actually believe in ghosts are you?
You're not trying to tell us you actually believe in ghosts are you?
I think he's trying to tell us he slept with his cousin.
It's a dream.
This was a poor read, I'm sorry to say. The story is a bit weak and accidental incest is not okay.

You must be schizophrenic. Please consult a therapist/psychologist
Sorry for waking you. I'll try to be quieter next time. Also, could you sleep naked? It's so frustrating having to deal with layers. Thanks! <3
There's an instance when you go to sleep and have a nightmare where your brain is still in the "imagination" state of the dream. Once you woke up you immediately forgot about the dream/nightmare, but your brain was still acting as if you where in a dream. Your "paranormal experience" was the last of your projected dream. This has happened to me before too, it's really scary. I woke up in the middle of the night from a nightmare, and I saw a faded out version of what was scaring me in the dream come running at me and then disappear. It doesn't happen a lot, so don't worry.
Ya know, becuase in movies the ghost try to kill you when you whip your blackberry at them.

I broke my younger brothers bed by jumping on it so I let him sleep in mine while I slept on his mattress. In the middle of the night I woke up and looked over at my bed and I saw a shadow hovering over it. The room was bitch black as well so this thing was really fucking dark. It just sorta kept starring at me from my bed while I laid just a few meters from it. I ended up putting my head under my covers and fell back asleep. Obviously back then I thought it was a fucking ghost but I've learned better. Didn't make it any less creepy though. I am kinda wondering what would have happened if he tried taking a picture of it.

Hallucinations. It happens to me when I wake up from a bad dream. Except I see cars, not human like creatures.
Hallucinations?! I never get that when I wake up except for after a long, memorable dream in which something close to me was involved, but that's only a weird sensation where everything seems slightly different or skewed, as if someone had successfully planted an idea in your mind that made you change the way you look at life (Inception?) But after eating something, or doing anything else that reminds you of life before the dream, it goes away. But hallucinations? That's pretty extreme.

Lurk moar and you might become a god poster so the ghosts will leave/help you find your vagina even though you're a dude.

It's just a picture of pitch black, and a bit of his door. He thought it was a ghost, and I find it creepy that he decides to keep that picture rather than delete it.

I woke up lying normally in bed, but when I sat up my vision blurred then went gradually black (blood flow prolly). i regained vision on the floor, then I started bouncing or something for some fucking reason (maybe the lower half of my body was numb and wasn't responding correctly?) and I saw this skinny, long necked, long limbed silhouette that scared the fuck out of me. Then I woke up on the floor. Creepy as fuck but alas, I am a man of science and have therefore rationalized my experience. Verdict? Twas fucked up.
I've had similar experiences, but like many others said the most common explanation towards it isn't ghost, but a projected image of nightmares/dreams. You ever wonder why people whom lucid dream state, "I SEE GHOST" its because their mind is usually more active as they sleep, and they can actually force project objects from nightmares/dreams. It's interesting actually if you can able yourself to project 'artistic' objects because everything around you sometimes can look like an artistic painting before you just go back to sleep, and say "fuck it's not real, it's not real"
find this ghost and molest him
Post pics [editline]26th June 2011[/editline] Not of the ghost. Of your cousin.
Most likely it was a dream or sleep paralysis.
