I used to feel the same way when my cat would hop up and lay on the keyboard/in the keyboard area. Lets just say that you should cherish your cat as eventually it will stop trying for your attention, and unless you have some sort of beef with the cat you will miss it doing so. THEN you will feel even worse when it eventually dies.
