my uncle is in the hospital, in a coma after emergency surgery following a total of five heart attacks
he's stable, but the actual status won't be known until he wakes up, which should be soon.
what's terrifying is that he's near the age where my grandpa, and my great-grandpa, died of heart attacks.
it's most likely a genetic thing, and seeing how "lucky" I have been in the genetic lottery thus far, I'm most likely screwed and have to start living a really, really healthy life if I am to avoid suffering the same fate.
my dad's getting close to the estimated age where my other relatives have developed heart conditions. he was already paranoid when my grandpa died, I can only imagine how terrified he is now.
I got things to help get my mind off of this, but the news couldn't have come at the worst time when I am already feeling down over things I cant control.
why didn't i start leaving beacons around when i was swimming around in the hell that is subnautica
now i can actually remember where the fuck things are and where i should never go
now if I can only find some fucking alien containment fragments so I have a more reliable water source than having to go out and catch bladderfish every time i come back to base

I bought a coconut at the supermarket and judging by my local friend's absolute bewilderment at the strange looking fruit object I just picked up it's not a common thing here.
Then I found out that none of my knifes are able to penetrate the shell. But then I found out that the reamer on my swiss knife is the perfect tool to make a tiny 1/8" hole onto it so I placed the thing on the ground and started bashing the coconut onto it.
I can't help but feel the connection to my primate origins while doing it.

Crisis averted. I used my spectacular charisma to join with two guys so we could work on an assignment together.
It was supposed to be done in five days but we got it done in one hour now we're best buddies.

So adding up all these computer parts, I'm gonna be spending $739.12 from 6 different online stores. And this is excluding rebates which I'm damn well gonna fill out.
Also I'll probably be using my touchpad to order this stuff because my shitty double clicking mouse almost made me buy two of the same graphics card.
