As soon as get my raises I might contemplate not going back to college lmao
If I build up enough experience here working with machines I'm pretty sure I could just go to some wiring profession. Maybe open my own arcade or something cool
Not a bad idea. If you can make a decent living doing something you really enjoy that's the goal imo.
Average bachelor degree job gives what, 17 an hour on average? I'll be at that next year without a degree
nobody wants to come on teamspeak and listen to me cut up old doors and couches with my chainsaw :saddowns:

There's a lot of variables but yeah like I said if you enjoy the work that means a lot. Taking advantage of good opportunities like hat can do a lot.

Where are you getting that idea at all? $17 an hour with a degree? It all depends on what you're doing.
Most stuff is moving into IT, and that stuff pays upwards of $100,000 a year high end.
When you start off don't expect to make too much w/o the experience, but by 25 you should expect to be making a decent amount.
My plan is to go for my masters if not further because I hate myself.

He's a little low, you're too high.
BLS puts the average weekly wage for Americans with a bachelors degree at around $1100. Using $100,000 as the example salary for a bachelors degree is way too high.

Most of them are advertised, such as programmers or system admins at $100,000 average. Obviously there's variables, but it depends on what you're looking at.
IT is an important field that's growing still, and the skill that goes into some of that pays well as a result.

There's also a reason IT jobs pay that much, more demand than there are workers.
Degrees aren't the most important thing in the world if you can find a suitable alternative and the average wage for those with a bachelors degree is more realistically around $57,000 yearly among all degrees.
idk what would lead you to think the iphone 3 would be the best iphone in 2017
I've heard that after a certain IPhone, they are all the same but just different size. Like the IPhone 3. It's the same as the rest. But the rest are bigger. And for I small hands I won't be able to use them.

Well that's why I had made my focus on the IT degree of things. I understand it may not be as high across the board, such as for artists and such.
Hell as a developer I don't even need a degree, and if I felt strongly enough that I could get by without one I wouldn't even bother. Yet I know that degrees are the norm nowadays, and unless I code the next Facebook/Instagram, my good looks and name won't be enough to get me by.
Most HRs will just drop your application if you don't immediately match their qualification requirements.

That's why you research your field and see if a degree is truly necessary.
There's three or so different fields I'm very interested in but only one of them really requires a degree to get into so that's what I'm going for. If the opportunity arises to enter one of the other fields then maybe I take it.

True, very much depends on what you're entering. Like I said, I would much rather not deal with the stress of getting a degree, both on my mind and finances, but it is what it is.
The way high schools handle the financial aspect is appalling too. The High School I went to constantly kept pushing for me to have my parents contribute. They couldn't seem to understand that I was taking it all on my own, debt and all.

I did a cursory Google search of "earnings of bachelor's holders" no specific field.
I'm currently an arcade technician in training at 11 an hour. A year in I'm at about 17. When I take over my location as tech manager in a year and a half after my trainer leaves, it's 23 an hour. Weekends off, 9 to 5 on weekdays but I can literally manipulate it however I want, and my position even now allows overtime (I stay an extra hour everyday just doing minor work)
It's not a dream job but it's hard to pass up. Continuing to move to the 23 though means extending my leave from college, which at a point they may not accept and I'll have to reapply to come back. But, I could finish a degree at the community college nearby instead while working.
If this path continues though, I just might not see myself going back to uni except maybe for one semester to get the degree there instead.
hey i managed to get my old skyrim saves to work
neat

To mediate mental sufferings by medical knowledge about relieving anguish has it's value, no matter if it's considered a real job or not. Making a difference in the habitual patterns of human behavior is currency in it's outcome when the end result is beneficial.
I might build a website teaching alternative treatment to beings not finding a place for treatment in modern society. How would one approach such a project and get started?
Just saw a webm of a guy cut off his own nipple with scissors now that will be on my mind when I try to sleep

That's good to hear, although that sounds like it is a management position. They typically tend to pay more.
Currently I work as Help Desk at 15 an hour, and allows overtime. I work full time, and there's strong potential to move up into their development team. It's definitely possible to make decent money without a degree, but in today's age it's smarter just to get one.
I forgot just how good Skyrim can look on a computer that isn't a shitty 2006 Vista
I even managed to leave my character's house and make it into Whiterun without crashing once!
Good evening :v:

Yeah the last stop on there is management. Again, more experience and another perk even. I'd be 2nd to the general manager (and even then I hold the knowledge of the actual location. He bows to me)
