Shove all my fries into the jar of sauce (usually mayonaise) and then use a spoon to eat
I always have ketchup, but in different ways: [t]https://previews.123rf.com/images/griffin024/griffin0241212/griffin024121200092/16933553-Hand-dipping-a-French-fry-into-tomato-ketchup-in-a-ramekin-next-to-fries-on-a-plate-isolated-against-Stock-Photo.jpg[/t] Sometimes I'll have it in a ramekin for dipping. [t]https://ak6.picdn.net/shutterstock/videos/3501626/thumb/1.jpg[/t] Other times I'll just put it next to the fries.
The only fries that I prefer to eat without any type of dip is McDonald's fries. They're too good to mess with the base taste.
There's a secret reason for that. They're essentially coated in sugar to help promote the Maillard reaction when fried, giving them a crispy golden umami quality.
With ketchup/mayo/BBQ sauce it depends on how much space I have on my plate/tray. If I can't just put it next to the fries I put it on top. With chili and cheese there's only one way.
putting it on top makes them soggy. dipping lets you control how much sauce you want.
Dip 'em, you know, like an actual human being and not a mouth breathing degenerate drizzler.
I pour my red sauce all over my chips, thank you very much.
depends. normal drive-thru fries? dip. I don't want that shit all over my Leather seats. At home though, freshly made fries with Bleu Cheese crumbles & sriracha drizzled all over. Only proper way to eat that.
I don't have a preference I normally find myself using both methods simultaneously. I like my fries drowned.
drizzle with malt vinegar. good fries don't need gtoss cloying ketchup
Dunk those fuckers into my milkshake
Fries legitimately taste good with ice cream, no joke. Try it if you haven't!
i sacrifice a goat and fast for three weeks before Osh Kaatul Oremesh, high spirit of condiments, reveals to me how i should have my fries for that event.

I don't use any kind of sauce on my fries. Salt is already enough
I don't put any sauce on my fries. I also only drink water.
all over pure savage
Most of the time I eat fries plain, but if I'm getting the honey chipotle chicken from Chili's, I pore the sauce over the fries, because that shit is godly.
