You know you've played too much Soul Calibur if you can pull off Ivy's special throw move without resorting to button mashing. You know you've played too much video game if you start wondering why saving/reloading doesn't work in reality.

You know you've played too much Metal Gear Solid when you are playing paintball with walkie-talkies and say "Otocon" or "Metal Gear" in snakes voice, all the time.

You know you've played too much, pretty much any shooter, when whenever you run you move your hands like you're carrying a rifle and are constantly sprinting.

You know you've played too many Turn-Based Strategy games that when you're at the dinner table and take a bite of food, you feel you need to wait for the other person to take their's before you take another.

You know when you've read too much of the SCP-wiki when random coughs from your family in the other rooms creep you the fuck out. You know you haven't taken your ADD meds when you yell at your mom for saying "Hey, you playin' the computer." You know you've played too much MGS3 when you say "Tasty" in Snake's voice when you try something new. You know you've played too much of The Binding of Issac when you think that every time you die in any other game it's gonna make you restart. You know you've been studying too much German when you start replacing "my" with "mien" when you talk.
