A movie based on this. This is a fantastic documentary on the Source Family. I am really surprised there isn't a movie on this yet.

Hotline Miami, directed by either Quentin Tarantino or David Lynch.

A Tarantino adaptation would be amazing.

See, I think Tarantino would work because of how over the top and violent his movies are, but Hotline Miami is also really psychological, which I think Lynch could handle well.
a team of special agents travel to a different dimension to steal a time machine to go back in time and kill hitler
That already happened in Doctor Who.

A Tarantino movie narrated by Morgan Freeman.
I don't care about the plot.
A 14-year-old boy and his family are struggling with the fact that he's slowly transforming into Ozzie Osbourne.

And thus, Paul Blart: Mall Cop was born.
"A Spoonful Of Madness"
Douglas Forkes, a retired private investigator, relives the dangers of eating cereal with a possessed spoon. How the fuck is he going to overcome this? Find out in May 2015...
The reconvergence of one person's timelines that diverged at a specific point in their past where they were presented with several options, and exploring how each of the versions of them deal with the knowledge of the other possible lives they could have lived.
You ask for oscar bait, I give you one person playing several roles. Even though Leo is doing that right now in a role about somebody with dissociative identity disorder IIRC. But we all know what the oscar yield of that movie will be.
Thought this one up about 10 seconds ago.
It's a time travel movie that focuses on the multi-verse theory (albeit, taking some artistic liberties)
A guy who uses time travel to rob banks ends up on the run, so he goes back and changes something to create a new timeline where no one knows he's a criminal. Through sheer luck and coincidence, another version of himself ends up in the same timeline after changing the exact same thing through the exact same way.
So now there's two versions of him running around, and they realise to solve to issue one of them has to kill the other. The movie probably spans across several years.
The kicker is that at the start they're basically the exact same person. Neither one you would root for. However, through tiny little changes in circumstances, one ends up becoming evil as fuck and the other becomes the hero of the film. Kind of like sliding doors only with more action and time travel.
On a serious note.

Either the first album or the second. Or both. I don't care. Make it so.
The Harry Turtledove novel "Guns of the South"
For those who don't know, Guns of the South is about a group of militant South Africans who travel back in time and arm the Confederacy with AK-47s during the American Civil War.
It's more than just a classic romparound of alternate history, since there's a lot of sincere character development and an interesting point of view on the period.
Not a movie, but when Act 3 comes out, a live stage musical (probably off-Broadway) of the Protomen albums would be fucking awesome.
