Try that in Firefox. [b]IT CONTINUES FROM WHERE IT WAS[/b]. Even a regular refresh keeps it where it was. Only a cache-flushing refresh (ctrl-f5) will reset it.
I'm honestly not sure if that should be classed as a bug, or a feature, though.
