I thought that google specificially said that you were allowed to use any name/nickname/alias/age that you wanted to, as opposed to facebook? Wasn't that like one of their main points, the fact that it was more chill and less strict?

I could be wrong, there is no way in hell I'm reading the[URL="http://www.google.com/accounts/TOS"] Google Book of Terms and Conditions[/URL]. G+ follows the same rules as the rest of the services. Or at least, the rules are included within the book. tl;dr, if I get kicked from G+ I have three other Gmail accounts to play with.
